NEIGHBORHOOD CAFE

Neighborhood is a collective memories with an old Hong Kong lifestyle.

The design intention for users is to make new friends, to drink a cup of café and to share reading.

A mail box system at the entry into which users can leave their hand-writhing letters is to allow users to make new friends each one. Spirit Spatial Studio draw the inspiration from hong lok street and tung choi street to create a feature wall with hidden furniture system and the visual contradiction between birds in cages and gold fishes in fish tanks. Moreover, flower market road and ice café inspire us to design a banquette with tradition Hong Kong style and sophisticated details in a balcony with flower and sunshine.
